Leftovers

Here is the quilt top made from the leftovers of DD#2's star quilt. Only the border fabric is a new introduction.

If you don't remember DD#2's star quilt, the post about it is here

Now if I can get some Hawaiian blocks done today, I will feel OK about things. I am not sure I can get the Hawaiian quilt done soon enough to send it off, so I may end up quilting it myself after all. With something this big, I'll just do cross-hatching, which seems a shame. Some quilted hibiscus would be so nice, but it takes me so long to do that. Finished is better than perfect, right?

Finished is better than perfect, but maybe you'll be able to get it done in time to send it off. The quilts are going to be great.

Your leftover looks very fresh. It turned out so pretty. It's a good thing I believe finished is better than perfect or I'd have to give up quilting, lol.
